The messages, word for word
No-Show Guard is built for each business that buys it, so there is no live client system to click through — and we won't fake one. What we can show you is the real thing it sends. The emails below are this product's own templates, the ones its build checks run against, filled in for one fictional booking.
The booking: Willow & Vine Salon (a made-up business), a customer named Maya (made up), a haircut and color on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at 10:30 AM, a $20 deposit, and a 24-hour cancellation window. Your wording is written from your own business details and approved by you before anything goes live.
1. The confirmation email — the moment the booking exists
Sample messages — fictional business
Subject: Your slot is held — Haircut & Color at Willow & Vine Salon on Tuesday, October 20, 2026
Hi Maya,
Your slot is held, not yet confirmed.
Service: Haircut & Color
When: Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at 10:30 AM
Where: Willow & Vine Salon
About your deposit: your appointment asks for a $20 deposit to hold this slot. It is credited in full at your appointment — it's a hold, not an extra charge. Pay it securely here: (the salon's own Stripe payment link goes here) — payment is processed by Stripe on Willow & Vine Salon's own Stripe account; your card details never go through us. Until the deposit lands, your slot is held for you, not yet confirmed: the hold runs until October 15 at 9:00 AM. If the deposit isn't paid by then, the hold is released and the slot opens back up — we'll email you once before that happens to remind you. If you need to change or cancel, please do it at least 24 hours ahead — inside that window a no-show or late cancel keeps the deposit. The full policy wording is on the deposit page before you pay.
Need to change anything? Reply to this email or call Willow & Vine Salon at (512) 555-0162 and we'll take care of it.
See you soon,
Willow & Vine Salon
Read the first line again: while a deposit is outstanding, the message says "held, not yet confirmed" — it never tells a customer "you're booked" before the gate has done its job. If a service takes no deposit, this whole deposit paragraph simply never appears.
2. The deposit reminder — halfway through the hold, only if the deposit hasn't landed
Sample messages — fictional business
Subject: Your held slot at Willow & Vine Salon — the deposit is still outstanding
Hi Maya,
You booked Haircut & Color at Willow & Vine Salon on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at 10:30 AM, and the slot is being held for you. The $20 deposit hasn't landed yet.
Pay it securely here: (the salon's own Stripe payment link goes here) — payment is processed by Stripe on Willow & Vine Salon's own Stripe account; your card details never go through us. Until it does, the booking is a hold, not a confirmed appointment.
The hold runs until October 15 at 9:00 AM. If the deposit isn't paid by then, the hold is released and the slot opens back up for other customers. The policy you saw before paying — credited in full when you arrive, kept only on a no-show or a cancel inside 24 hours — still applies in full.
Changed your mind? Reply to this email or call Willow & Vine Salon at (512) 555-0162 and we'll release the hold now — no charge, nothing kept.

3. The reminder email — two days before the appointment
Sample messages — fictional business
Subject: Reminder — Haircut & Color at Willow & Vine Salon on Tuesday, October 20, 2026
Hi Maya,
A quick reminder: you're booked for Haircut & Color at Willow & Vine Salon on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at 10:30 AM.
If that still works for you, no need to do anything — we'll see you then.
If you need to reschedule or cancel, please do it at least 24 hours before your appointment: reply to this email or call us at (512) 555-0162. If a deposit was taken for this appointment, it is credited in full when you arrive, and it is kept only on a no-show or a cancel inside that 24-hour window — the policy you saw before paying.
Thanks,
Willow & Vine Salon
If the appointment is less than 48 hours away when the booking is made, this step is skipped — never sent late. A cancel or reschedule stops or re-times the whole sequence, and an opt-out stops it for good.
4. The two text messages — templates only, and off
Templates only — texting is disabled
One day before: "Willow & Vine Salon: Hi Maya, reminder for Haircut & Color on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at 10:30 AM. Changes need 24h notice: (512) 555-0162. Reply STOP to end."
Two hours before: "Willow & Vine Salon: See you soon, Maya - Haircut & Color today at 10:30 AM. Running late? Call (512) 555-0162. Reply STOP to end."
These texts have never been sent by this system. Texting stays disabled until carrier (A2P) registration is approved for the order — typically 2–5 business days — and a live delivery test is on record. Both texts are length-checked when they're built, so one never silently splits into extra billable segments.
What the owner sees
A simple list, not a dashboard product: upcoming bookings, the deposit status on each one (held, received, credited, kept), which reminders have gone out, and a flag on anything that failed to send. A failed send surfaces to the owner — it is never quiet. Once a month, a summary: bookings covered, reminders sent, deposits taken, credited, and kept.
Your customers would read the same words
Your sequence is written from your own services, hours, and deposit policy — and you approve the wording before any of it goes live. $99 setup + $29/month, month-to-month.
